How it all started….

I grew up on a little hobby farm- had a few horses and cows, add a few chickens and a phase where I liked rabbits… Horses though is where the magic happened for me. My spot where life felt right and I was coordinated with my horses four feet vs my own two. I went to school in Billings Montana at Rocky Mountain College so I could pack my horse with me.

Recently though we moved back to my home town in Idaho to be close to my parents, pasture and a quieter lifestyle. My mother had a quilt kit she got for us to make together of cowboy boots. It turned out to be so much fun and gave me the shove, along with the support of family and friends, to start sewing bags. I love bags almost as much as my horses and coats, but I find them heavy and lacking in things. So I made my first buckle purse where I could show off my winnings from competing at the Aurora Horseman’s Foundation shows. Well, I was hooked!

I have continued sewing and with the feedback from my testers the bags are getting better and better. They are starting to stack up so it is time to put them out in the world. The buckle bag being my main focus, then some just for fun bags, and of course a quilt here and there!
